Iago Pericot i Canaleta,<\/strong> (<\/span><span>el Masnou,<\/span><span>22 de octubre de 1929, Badalona 9 de agosto de 2018)<\/span><span>,<\/span><span>escen\u00f3grafo, nos ha dejado esta madrugada a los 89 a\u00f1os..<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>La sala de velatorio se abrir\u00e1 esta tarde a las 17:00 en el tanatorio de El Masnou y el entierro ser\u00e1 ma\u00f1ana a las 12:00 del mediod\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>En <strong>Iago<\/strong> fue profesor y maestro de muchas generaciones de escen\u00f3grafos desde principios de los a\u00f1os 70 cuando, junto con Fabi\u00e0 Puigserver, refundaron los estudios de escenograf\u00eda en el Instituto del Teatro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Como profesional y tambi\u00e9n como docente siempre trabaj\u00f3 en los m\u00e1rgenes de lo que estaba establecido y rompiendo los l\u00edmites de las convenciones que \u00e9l consideraba \"pornograf\u00eda\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Estudi\u00f3 magisterio en la Escuela Normal de Barcelona y se licenci\u00f3 en psicolog\u00eda en la Universidad de Barcelona. Su curiosidad y ansia de libertad le llev\u00f3 a transitar por disciplinas diversas relacionadas con la pl\u00e1stica hasta que anclarse a la pl\u00e1stica esc\u00e9nica. Debut\u00f3 como escen\u00f3grafo en 1968 en la C\u00fapula del Coliseum (Escuela de Arte Dram\u00e1tico Adri\u00e0 Gual) con su hermano Jordi en el montaje \"Baladas del clamor y el hambre\" de Xavier F\u00e0bregas, dirigido por Josep Ant\u00f3n Codina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Innovador, provocador, <\/span><span>transgressor<\/span><span>,estimulador, siempre libre, su obra pl\u00e1stica se ha desarrollado en su obra como dramaturgo, director, escen\u00f3grafo y promotor. Le gustaba escandalizar a los auditorios con frases como \"el escen\u00f3grafo es la criada del teatro\" o \"para hacer una escenograf\u00eda no hay que leerse la obra\" con el fin de estimular el debate y abrir la mente a los oyentes .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Su trayectoria y sus convicciones le llevaron a trabajar b\u00e1sicamente en proyectos propios desde que en 1975<\/span><span>fund\u00f3 (con Sergi Mateu) el Teatre Metropolitano de Barcelona.<\/span><span>Entre los montajes que ha realizado sobresalen <em>Rebel delirium <\/em>(1977), <em>Simf\u00f2nic King Crimson <\/em>(1980), <em>Bent <\/em>(1982), <em>La bella i la b\u00e8stia<\/em> (1984), <em>Mozartnu <\/em>(1986 i 2008), <em>El banquet <\/em>(1990), <em>Uno es el Cubo<\/em> (1995), <em>Una furtiva \u00f2pera<\/em> (1997), <em>El joc de l\u2019engany<\/em> (2002) , <em>Il mondo della luna<\/em> (2004), <em>La Venus de Willendorf <\/em>(2010), <em>La guillotina 2.0<\/em> (2014) i <em>Adam i Eva<\/em> (2017).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Entre otros en 1990 recibi\u00f3 el Premio Nacional de Artes Esc\u00e9nicas y el Nacional de Artes Esc\u00e9nicas de la Generalitat de Catalu\u00f1a, en 2015 fue Premio de Honor por su trayectoria profesional, el Fomento de las Artes y el Dise\u00f1o (FAD), en 2018 el premio Gonz\u00e1lez P\u00e9rez de Olaguer los premios de la Cr\u00edtica a la trayectoria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Un sentido recuerdo de quienes hemos tenido el privilegio de disfrutar su maestr\u00eda su generosa amistad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ad\u2019EC <wbr><\/wbr>                              <wbr><\/wbr>                <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":10,"featured_media":810,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_price":"","_stock":"","_tribe_ticket_header":"","_tribe_default_ticket_provider":"","_tribe_ticket_capacity":"","_ticket_start_date":"","_ticket_end_date":"","_tribe_ticket_show_description":"","_tribe_ticket_show_not_going":false,"_tribe_ticket_use_global_stock":"","_tribe_ticket_global_stock_level":"","_global_stock_mode":"","_global_stock_cap":"","_tribe_rsvp_for_event":"","_tribe_ticket_going_count":"","_tribe_ticket_not_going_count":"","_tribe_tickets_list":"[]","_tribe_ticket_has_attendee_info_fields":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[19,16],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1256","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias","category-noticies"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.9 -
